Thank you for your interest in Lyric Couture.
We want to make you as happy as SHE is!
And
why shouldn't you be? You are contemplating buying something a
little different--something individually created from already-existing
materials, and therefore made without the use of pesticides (like
cotton & other "natural" fibers), petroleum (like synthetics), or
abused laborers (like most "reasonably-priced" clothing).
Because each Lyric item is unique, you'll have to contact us directly regarding what you want. Here's a guide to help us help you.
Which garment are you interested in?
Tell us its number and style and we'll get back to you on availability and size specifics.
When a specific garment is not available in your size, we can sometimes alter it to fit OR custom make one for you, usually in 2-4 weeks. In that case, we will also want to know your color and style preferences, so let's talk, exchange photos of materials, etc.
Caveat Emptor: Keep in mind when ordering your Lyric clothes
that they are made almost exclusively from vintage/pre-loved/repurposed
materials. Whatever fancy spin you put on them for a name, they
are used. That's the
whole point--that we are not contributing to the fiber & fashion
industry's frequent waste, pollution or inequitable wages, or to your
local dump--we are having healthy fun making brand new art out of old
stuff. So while we choose materials just as we would for
higher-end clothes--for their texture, color, fiber content &
hand--we occasionally let a tiny hole, hanging thread or other
imperfection exist in our designs. That's just part of their
charm.
